Queen Camilla paid tribute to her late mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth, during her latest royal appearance.

This week, the 76-year-old queen attended the Service of Thanksgiving for King Constantine II of Greece, who sadly passed away at age 82. It didn’t take long for us to notice that Queen Camilla was wearing the Greville Ivy Leaf Clips and the pearl and diamond drop earrings, both of which previously belonged to Queen Elizabeth.

The clips were designed by Cartier, and they originally belonged to Dame Margaret Greville. She later gave the jewels to the Queen Mother, who gifted them to Queen Elizabeth on her 21st birthday. Although they were a beloved piece of the queen’s jewelry collection, this is the first time the Greville Ivy Leaf Clips have been worn by a royal family member since the monarch’s death in 2022

On the other hand, the pearl and diamond drop earrings were also passed down by Queen Elizabeth. However, they’ve been worn by Queen Camilla on multiple occasions.

Queen Camilla wore a coordinating outfit, consisting of a navy-blue blazer and matching skirt. As IG user Royal Fashion Police points out, she accessorized with a hat by Philip Treacy, a crossbody bag by Chanel, black pumps by Eliot Zed and a gold bracelet by Van Cleef & Arpels.

This isn’t the first time that Queen Camilla has worn the late monarch’s jewelry. In fact, she inherited multiple pieces from Queen Elizabeth’s collection following her death. Although Kate Middleton received the “lion’s share” of the monarch’s accessories, the queen consort got to pick first.

We’re sure those jewels will be making royal appearances for generations to come.
